That this Committee calls on the Manager to report on progress in bringing Waterstown Park to a point where it can be opened to the public and to bring forward a schedule for
- the construction of a respectable entrance to the park from Waterstown Ave
- completion of the car park
- the eradication of anti-social behaviour from the park
- construction of a suitable peripheral fence between the park and Riversdale Estate that will both enhance the residential area and prevent the kind of anti-scoial behaviour residents have had to endure and include a lockable gate between the estate and the park
- appointment of park rangers to the park

To thank the Manager for considering the inclusion of the new swimming pool as part of a new Sports and Leisure Centre. And that the Manager would continue to provide such information from the Architects Department so as to ensure that the design of a new Lucan Sports and Leisure Centre would be most aesthetically pleasing for the local residential community and environment of Griffeen Valley Regional Park.
