That the Lucan/Clondalkin Area Committee notes the Manager's Report on Motion 21 on the Agenda of the Council Meeting of 8th May 2006 and requests the Manager to identify areas in the Clondalkin and Lucan Electoral Areas for which the approval of the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government for pilot Community Warden Schemes will be sought, and to prepare a proposal for the Department, which will be informed by the ongoing deliberations  of the LGMSB and City and County Managers.

That the Manager gives detailed information in relation to the “Corkagh Town Plan”. This plan is in relation to Affordable Housing.  Is there no other area within the Ward/County that would give the number of affordable houses needed? This would save Corkagh Park?

That this Committee agree to have the outstanding finishing works concluded immediately at Moorfield Estate namely unfinished:

(1) Wall (boundary) at green space facing on to Neilstown Road (graffiti, builders litter)

(2) New wall be capped in such a manner that would deter anti-social activities.

In response to representations from residents in the Oatfield & Wheatfield Housing Estates concerning on-going anti-social behaviour displayed by some private tenant's & the irresponsible attitude of some landlords, I move that this Council acts in conjunction with the P.R.T.B & Revenue Department to ensure that all landlords in the area are registered & tax compliant.

To ask the Manager what action the Council is taking on management companies of apartment complexes that allow tenants breach conditions laid down under the management agreements submitted to the Council at the planning stage. Will he agree that the behaviour of some tenants such as hanging out washing, poorly maintained public open space and poor security is causing the environment to suffer. Will he make a statement on the matter?

To ask the Manager what proposals he has for dealing with the increasing problem of quad and motor bikes accessing parkland and destroying it for everyone else. Would he not agree that there should be a facility within the county to carry out this activity and thus providing an alternative.
