That this Committee receives a detailed explanation as to how the Towers Hotel was permitted to build on all the extra rooms without any provision of car parking spaces, and was there prior knowledge of the use of the building for asylum seekers.
That the Manager initiates moves to complete the apartment complex, Aras Na Chluaine. The area along the river needs finishing. Also there is no boundary wall around the development. Pictures to be provided at LAM.
That the Manager proposes a contravention to the Development Plan, where applicable, to decrease the number of off licenses per number of residents within residential areas.
That the Manager takes relevant action regarding residents' payment for submissions for planning applications. If a resident submits an application, and a decision is made against their submission, this money should then be used to ease any financial implications for the resident who may want to appeal to An Bord Pleanala.
