MOTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"That this Council exerts all its influences to persuade the OPW to incorporate the Bring Centre on Grange Road into the grounds of St Enda's Park, or to seek a more suitable location."

REPORT:

The Council has been in contact with the OPW regarding the possible relocation of the glass bring bank to the car park of St Enda 's Park. Local management in St Enda's Park is considering the request and the Council is awaiting a decision.

In addition  Council personnel have spoken to the district manager of the local Esso petrol filling station regarding the possible siting of the glass bring bank at the Esso station on the Grange Road.  Esso are considering this request and their decision on the matter is awaited.
