To ask the Manager to give an update on the current insulation programme by South Dublin County Council to install proper insulation in all houses by a specific date, if he could give a breakdown of the number of houses that are expected to receive this new standard and what number are likely to be insulated to the new standard after 2007, and if he will make a statement on the matter?

"That the Manager report on any progress being made on my proposal some years ago about the idea for a boardwalk overlooking a stretch of the Dodder at Lr. Dodder Road."

(c) to outline what department is going to co-ordinate this –as it is a wider issue than any new housing development, taking into consideration plans have been developed previously by the Roads department.. (c) to outline in the report what assessment has been carried out on the submission on parking made by the Pearse Br. Park/Palmer Park residents association as part of the Ballyboden Village Plan? And to comment on same as such information is necessary prior to future meeting with the residents association." 

"That the Manager  ensure that the appointed Consultants meet with residents representatives and public representatives in connection with the upgrading of Stocking Lane."

"That the Manager instate a footpath from Greenpark Estate to the new supermarket on the Greenhills road."

"That the Manager furnish a report to the members regarding what action is to be taken to deal with the unsatisfactory "temporary entrance" used by the residents of 218-231 Grange Road, as it is noted there was a meeting with the residents concerned in early November."

"That the Manager  investigate the possibilty of providing a cycle way from Osprey Road to Bishop Galvin & Shanahan Schools in order to ensure safe passage for cyclists, and  to examine the possibility of a cycle track from St MacDaragh's Community College (taking in St Judes, Faugh's and Templeogue Utd) to the Perrystown roundabout."

"That the Manager provide a pedestrian crossing with a traffic calming platform on Whitechurch Road in the vicinity of Willbrook Lawn."

That the Manager would undertake to have a number of road name signs erected around the village of Newcastle to identity the different roads/areas for new residents and those visiting the area. i.e. Aylmer Road, Aylmer Avenue, Peamount Road, Main Street, Strangford Drive, Orchard Grove and Ballynakelly.
