That this Council supports an educational programme and a strict enforcement by An Garda Síochána for the drivers of H.G.V's in relation to their speed when using interchange ramps. The over turning of trucks which happened recently on the Outer Ring Road and previously in Naas, Co Kildare, in a similar interchange layout, is a serious health and safety issue for the drivers and the other road users.  As a result, while the interchange is blocked, there is serious traffic congestion until a crane is brought in to move the obstruction.
