QUESTION: Councillor C. Jones

To ask the Manager when the Allenton/Oldcourt Traffic Calming Scheme will be reviewed and will additional speed ramps be installed along Allenton Avenue and will he make a statement on the matter?

REPLY:

A review of the Allenton/Oldcourt Traffic Calming Scheme will take place in Spring 2008.

The Roads Department has not received any correspondence from the residents of Allenton Avenue requesting additional traffic calming measures on this road. It is noted that the configuration of the driveways would make it difficult to install additional traffic calming ramps on Allenton Avenue. However, if the residents forward a petition requesting such measures the matter will be considered.
