That this commitee reccomends a freeze on all applications for fire road licences in the dublin mountain area under the control of this county pending a review of operation of this by the environment, planning and forrestry services to prevent the abuse of this by scurrillous developers who are using this facility for waste disposal.

That this Committee notes the concern of residents about excessive water on the footpath leading from the steps to St Mary's Church car park, at Chapel Hill, which constitutes a hazard for pedestrians, and asks the Manager if he will request the Environmental Services Department to investigate the cause of this excessive flow of water, and in particular if it is due to inadequate provision for surface water drainage from the new apartments development at Chapel View,  and make a report on the problem with proposals for its amelioration.

To ask the Manager when will replacement trees for trees removed from Fforster Estate during construction of the outer ring road be planted? Both the Parks Department and Roads Department agreed to the planting of mature trees on the green area behind existing fence during road construction.
