"That, not withstanding a previous motion and answer on the subject, this committee reviews the procedure for planning notices with the Terenure Rathfarnham area with particular regard to planning notices hidden from adjoining or adjacent residential areas on which these applications have a material impact."

That this Committee ensure the objective of extending the Dodder Linear Park from Oldbawn Bridge west to Bohernabreena be realised and that an action plan be urgently drawn up to implement this objective.
"That the Council engage with Knocklyon parish with regard to the parish ceding a strip of ground in order to facilitate additional car parking in the vicinity of the Church which should help in considerably relieving the traffic congestion at peak times."
That the manager arrange a site visit with the Tallaght South Councillors at the location of the open space between Deerpark Lodge and Cushlawn as a matter of urgency as it is necessary to secure this location against the persistent Anti-Social Behaviour residents have to endure emanating from this site.
To ask the Manager to report on the view of cyclists that our cycle paths are unsuitable in that the lips are too high, and that cyclists using them must give way to other traffic, and can he also report generally on the making and implementation of policy on the encouragement of safe cycling as a mode of transport in the area of this Committee.
That consideration be given to the establishment, in County Hall or in another appropriate building within the city centre of Tallaght, of a venue in which the civil registration of marriages may take place, given that the marriage provisions of the Civil Registration Act, 2004 have now commenced.
That urgent action be taken by Roads Dept to resolve outstanding issues in relation to the care and maintenance of the Firhouse Road area from Ballycullen Road to Scoil Carmel.
That the Manager would present a detailed report for discussion on the possibility of issuing the appropriate permit for casual trading outside Palmerstown Cemetery. The local trader has been serving the needs of the Community for more than a quarter of a century and it is the expressed wish of the established customer base that the service be allowed continue.

To ask the Manager to carry out a survey of all trees and shrubbery on the lands at the rear of Esker Lawns adjacent to the Lucan Road from the Lay-By down towards Brookvale Estate. In recent times there appears to have been subsidence and movement of trees and roots of trees, and in some cases there is an obvious danger to pedestrians and motorists. This Committee also requests the Manager to make a report on ths survey, including any proposed works to remedy this problem.
