Installation of Individual Road Signage within Brookview Estate, Tallaght
To ask the Manager if he will outline the estates that have been provided with a junk collection in each of the last five years; to outline when the next list of estates will be published; to clarify whether every estate taken in charge can still expect to be covered at least once every five years and on what basis new estates will be added; and if he will make a statement on the matter?
To ask the Council, given its involvement in the opening of Lucan's first Youth Cafe, Mega-Bites, what steps it will take to promote the venue amongst various age groups, in consultation with the organising Committee, the CYC and the NYCI; to outline whether there exists the possibility of using the centre during off-peak hours as a means of providing additional community access and revenue-raising potential; and if he will make a statement on the matter?
To ask the Manager to report on the current available number of individual allotments in the Clondalkin and Lucan Electoral Areas; to outline progress on expanding same, e.g. at Griffeen Park; to outline the current numbers on the waiting list; the annual charge levied; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
To ask the Manager if he will investigate the potential of creating volunteer park wardens to supplement the work of the full-time staff, who clearly are not numerous enough to patrol our parks and ensure they are safe at all times?
To ask the Manager for a progress report on the completion of the hand over of the Community Centre in Palmerstown, and if he can give a date by which the Centre will be open for use by the community?
To ask the Manager to outline the latest schedule for the rollout of the brown bins in Lucan, Palmerstown, Saggart, Rathcoole and Newcastle, to indicate whether there will be a charge for such a service; and if he will make a statement on the matter?
To ask the Manager to clarify for once and for all what the legal position is in relation to management of the area covered by the steps and railings leading from the Lucan Road up to the Lucan-Newlands Road, given that this right of way has existed for many years, is not part of Brookvale estate, is poorly lit and maintained and needs to be managed adequately by the Council or closed off completely; and if he will make a statement on the matter?
To ask the Manager for an updated report on the current Housing Refurbishment Programme for Greenfort and Shancastle Estates, Clondalkin?
"To ask the Manager for a timeline for the completion of the land exchange between Edmondstown Golf Club and the Council lands at Moyville which has been ongoing since 2000?"
To ask the Manager to clarify what South Dublin County Council's contractor will accept in its green bins given the nationwide advertising campaign by Repak which suggests that more materials than hitherto thought of can be collected, including aerosol cans; to outline, if all such Repak-highlighted materials are not covered, the timeframe in which additional materials will be able to be added; and if he will make a statement on the matter?
