To ask when promised signposts (directional) for Deansrath College will be in place, in view of ongoing difficulties in locating same for school visitors not familiar with this area of Clondalkin. This Councillor asked some time ago and the College Principal is aware of cost of same?

This Committee recommends that warning signs are placed on the approaches to the pedestrian lights at the entrance to Scoil na Camoige on Watery Lane, Clondalkin as some vehicles have been driving through red lights at that location.
That this Committee recommends that the entrance areas to Corkagh Park from both Cherrywood Crescent, and Cherrywood Grove, Clondalkinare tidied up and made free of flooding, both at the entrance and within the park.
That this Committee recommends that a section of footpath is built from the New Nangor Road to the Spar Shop/Dr Ramiah's on Cherrywood Crescent, Clondalkin.

"That the Manager give a report on what funding will be in place for the new community manager and youth officer for the refurbished Ballyroan community centre that is to open early next year."
That the Committee calls on the Manager to make a statement on the flood prevention, drainage and maintenance work carried out on the Poddle River in 2009. In particular can the Manager outline if work was not done as part of cutbacks which would normally have been carried out on a yearly basis up to this. Will the Manager guarantee this work will now be carried out as a matter of urgency and that flood prevention / drainage works will not be reduced as part of cutbacks in 2010. Failure to carry out this work could put houses in Osprey at risk of Flooding.
