Review of Footpaths in the Jobstown Area
To ask the Manager if he will provide a report on measures on recent work to remove illegally dumped materials and items in and around the Quarryvale Estates, particularly in Quarryvale Park and on the piece of land adjacent to the houses at the northern edge of Greenfort Estate beside the Coldcut Road on which serious incidents of illegal dumping reguilarly occur, and if he will consider installing CCTV cameras at this location?
This Council Committee calls on the Manager to clarify the legitimate concerns of residents living in the Kingswood area regarding the disposal and possible disposal of public open space lands in the area.
That the Manager would present a detailed report for discussion on the grass cutting programme for 2011 in the Lucan area. Specifically would the Manager report in detail on areas within our parks, open spaces etc., that have not as yet been taken-in-charge by this Council, or are currently in the process of being taken-in-charge by this Council, and that have been the subject of great inconvenience to local residents, Residents Associations etc., owing to great difficulties and delays in having these grasses areas cut on a regular basis.
That the Manager provide a update on the masts on the Badminton Hall on Whitehall road and that the Council will actively seek to reduce the number of masts at this location as part of the licensing process
That the Manager provide an update on why work has not been carried out to finish off the landscaping work at the base of the trees on Orwell Green which were thinned out at the request of the Residents Association.
