That this Committee strongly recommends a form of action plan to address works on the Nangor Road (from the Tower Road to the Fonthill Road junctions) as follows-
A thorough litter pick followed by including this stretch on a regular routine cleaning schedule.
- The removal of all weeds along the pathway followed by a weed control plan to prevent them re-appearing as before.
- Enforcing CPM to control overgrowth from their lands out on to the public footpath and rectification works to the perimeter fencing.
- Remove all green growth, restore and protect for the future the old stone walling along this stretch including both sides of the potentially attractive Camac Bridge.
- Restore and protect the two water pumps as attractive features.
- Installation of bins along this route to capture both significant school and shopper traffic.
