MOTION: Councillor M. Devine

“That the Manager, in providing important information to householders’ regarding County Council’s business, decide to ensure that those properties displaying a “NO JUNK MAIL” sign be also leafleted”.

REPORT:

This issue was discussed on 7^th November at the Environment SPC in relation to the distribution of a leaflet for households on 'How to prepare for Bad Weather'. Following discussion, it was agreed to prepare a comprehensive report  researching legislation, cost and options available. The report will be presented at the next meeting of the SPC in order to determine policy on this issue.
