That this Council calls for the reconvening of the Forum on a Directly-Elected Mayor; or establishment of similar body or process, to allow for a further consideration of proposals, including those contained in the Forum's section 59(1) report, with a view to making detailed recommendation on possible reforms and/or devolution of functions to Dublin local authorities, in particular in the area of transport, sustainable planning and economic development, within the framework of Dublin's existing local government model.
