"That the Chief Executive report on the progress being made by the consulting engineer contracted to examine and report on South Dublin County Council’s obligations under the Dublin Agglomeration Noise Action Plan 2013 -2018, including the levels of engagement with local residents assocations such as in Moy Glas Lucan and specifically to outline whether the report will be back as originally expected in April; to outline the timescale when elected members will be given copies of the report and to give a commitment that following on from this a meeting can be set up with elected representatives and residents groups that have expressed concern regarding noise levels as part of feeding into this process, including Moy Glas, so that tangible action points can be agreed."
"That the Chief Executive, following on from this matter being raised late last year, reviews as agreed the 7.5T signage for vehicles entering into the Oval and up through Turret Road, Palmerston, especially in the light of ongoing reports that large vehicles clearly above this limit and large vehicles below this limit are using the area as a rat run and in recent weeks one such truck tore down telephone wires; and that the very existence of the signage may be encouraging large vehicles below the 7.5T limit to use the route."

To ask the Chief Executive given that Scramblers and Quads are such a huge issue locally, Can SDCC look a campaign to promote safety and awareness? This campaign could be done in conjunction with the Garda Síochána and involve the Local Safety Forums.

"That this council reviews the level of bins in Lucan and Palmerstown parks with a view to increasing to standards similar to our neighbouring counties and to consider the possibility of using sponsorship to funding extra bins and park benches.

That this Committee calls on the Chief Executive to endorse the Homeless Support Service monetarily which is being provided by CARP (community addiction response project ) recognizing the hugely important assistance being provided to the South Dublin Homeless population.
To ask the Chief Executive for a report on what Accommodation was available by week from 6th March to May on choice based lettings?
To ask the Chief Executive to look at and issue a report on a tourism map for all areas of SDCC that is accessible and easy to understand that could highlight the best of what SDCC has to offer. Such a map could also detail well known people from each area?
To ask the Chief Executive for a report on how many Homeless families are in hotels and B and Bs in SDCC and how long they have been in this accommodation ? also how many are accomodated in Dublin City Council area that are from SDCC? This Report should provide a breakdown of costs.
To ask the Chief Executive to look at the ''Tree of Hope'' which has been very successful in many areas to be rolled out across SDCC parks and Green areas in a planned and coordinated manner and to also look at SDCC launching a mental health awareness campaign in conjunction with this?
To ask the Chief Executive to use the SDCC website, SDCC Facebook page, Twitter, TV screens in SDCC civic offices, Press release and any other form of media to call for all citizens of SDCC to vote in the Referendums on May 22nd?
"That SDCC Urgently seek emergency funding and this be made available to help families in Oldcastle Park to improve and upgrade the Accommodation for the Traveller's living there.’’
