"To ask the Manager to write to Dublin Bus to request a provision of a bus shelter at one of the stops on Ballycullen Road.This road caters for a number of routes and this road is particularly open to the elements. Also, passengers numbers should increase when the Q.B.C comes into operation?"

That this Committee recognising the weakness inherent in the present policing structures and in view of the overwhelming support among residents in Kingswood for the Garda Authorities in Tallaght to patrol and take responsibility for policing for the whole of the area, agrees to write and contact the relevent authorities, including the Garda Commissioner and the Justice Minister concerned, calling on them to urgently address and prioritise this issue, in the interest of improving the quality and the level of support for policing in the immediate area.   

That this Council Committee concerned at the lack of adequate legislation regarding the height of trees and hedges on private property and aware of similar concerns in other local Authorities and the difficulties being experienced by residents calls for the introduction of a single legislative measure which would apply in these cases  nd agrees to write to the Minister concerned to prioritise legislation in this area.

"To ask the Manager to confirm the status of enforcement proceedings at the Tallaght Cross/Glashaus hotels, which permitted residents to live in them as apartments rather than their original purpose as hotel rooms, and to make a statement on the matter?"

That this Committee calls on the Manager to give a report outlining what is happening regarding the delay in the reinstatement of the popular childrens playgound in Tymon Park.

That the Manager outline the frequency and extent of grass cutting which will be carried out this year in relation to open spaces and along main roads.

That this Committee, appreciating the urgency of need for the clubs involved and past plans outlined to the clubs regarding now-passed timelines for the project, calls for the immediate implementation of plans to build and operate the TASC Pavilion in Tymon Park.

"To ask the Manager to carry out a inspection of the surface of Fortfield Road at the area of the open space at College Drive and outline when repair work will be carried out. The road surface at this point is in a very poor state of repair?"

"To ask the Manager to carry out repair work to all the damaged kerbing in front of the houses around Templeville Roundabout. This kerbing has been damaged by heavy vehicles and in some cases has not been reinstated properly after previous work carried out on the roundabout?"

That this Committee calls on the Manager, in view of the ongoing traffic problems and the obvious danger to motorists exiting and entering the shopping centre opposite Raheen/Whitebrook Estates, to carry out an investigation into possible measures that could be introduced to improve safety at this busy neighbourhood centre.

That the Manager gives a commitment to ensure that all road signage on National Roads in the Tallaght area are verified for correct spelling of placenames etc. as soon as possible.

That the Manager carry out an inspection of the footpaths and in particular the damage caused  to them by large trees in Glendown. Due to the the poor state of many of these footpaths that their repair be included in this years footpath repair programme. 

That the Manager consider the erection of speed limit signs at Castle Lawns, due to the increased amount of traffic at that location. 

 That the Manager arrange for the installation of a yellow box and a flashing “children crossing” sign at the junction of Wainsfort Grove and College Drive. Exiting from Wainfort Grove onto College Drive is dangerous because of the difficulty in seeing traffic on College Drive due to a bend in the road. This has been exacerbated since the opening of the Daisy chain Montessori school and crèche in the area.

That the Manager consider the erection of ramps as a speed reduction measure in Newtown Park.

That the Manager arrange an inspection of the roads in the Willington,Rushbrook area as they are in a bad state of repair.
