That this Council Committee, in view of  the huge problems associated with parts of Kilmartin Estate including litter, burnt out areas on the green spaces,lack of any clear road signage, missing gates, noise levels increased from the new road, empty boarded up houses, empty waste lands created on the corridor between the estate and the new road, the condition of the laneway and  walkway between Kilmartin and the new road, agrees to have an onsite meeting  to look at new ways of improving the quality of life for residents and Council tenants living in this estate.

That this Committee calls on the Manager to ensure that proper maintenance and grass cutting is carried out this year in all graveyards in Tallaght Central and that the Manager outline the amount and type of work which will be carried out this year.

That urgent and effective action be taken, in conjunction with the Gardai, to end the use of quad bikes, motor bikes etc on lands near the Old Mill, Tallaght, given that this activity has continued unabated for the past 2 years and is hazardous, and a cause of noise and air pollution.
