Paul Hynes OP, of Tallaght Welfare Society, at the bridge across the by pass at Tallaght Village/St. Dominics noting that a Name Stone was erected at the site when the original bridge was opened in 1979 but was lost when the new bridge was built and will he appreciate the wide support in the Tallaght area for such provision?"

Motions
That this Committee welcomes the recent installation of energy saving public lighting in Kilnamanagh and requests that the Bancroft Estate be prioritized for the roll out of the programme.
That the Chief Execuitve Officer arranges for ramps to be installed on the Old Naas Road. This road has a creche and residential properties on it. During peak times, trucks and other traffic will take a short cut, leading back on to the N7. This is a huge issue for the parents and residents.
Planning
Questions
"To ask the Chief Executive Officer for a report on the recent Planning Permission applied for with regards to Newlands Cross Cemetery?"
"To ask the Chief Executive Officer if he will arrange to have the lane way at the side of St Maelruins Terrance and the shops on the Old Bawn Road inspected. Signage has been erected in the area which blocks the line of vision out on to the Old Bawn Road for motorists. To also ask the CEO if the wall at the back of Maelruins Terrace can be inspected. The wall height has been increased and this is blocking out light into these dwellings. Can the CEO please confirm if planning permission has been provided for this and if not can he ensure the height is reduced. I have also been informed that two car washes are operating in a premises at the the rear of St Maelruins Terrace, can the CEO confirm if planning permission has been provided for this type of commercial use? Residents have complained that these car washes have caused flooding in the area as drainage is not capable of dealing with the waste water?"
"People living on Seskin View Road backing on to Dodder Park, where a new bridge has been erected recently, say there is a high pitched noise emanating from the bridge when the wind brows, which is very annoying and upsetting and people cannot sleep. Can the Chief Executive Officer arrange to have this inspected and carry out any works required to fix this issue?"
