MOTION: Councillor M. Devine

That this Committee congratulate the Chief Executive Officer on work done within Tallaght Village. Under the Village initiatives can the Chief Executive Officer update members on further works for this historical compact County town and discuss implementation of these proposals.

REPORT:

The public realm works proposed for the village of Tallaght are currently on Part 8 display. The proposals are included in a budget allocation and of the plans are approved by the Elected Members, will progress to implementation. Nine villages in all are included in the Villages Initiative. A schedule for the implementation timetable of all proposals will be agreed following the conclusion of the current Part 8 display programme.
