Questions
"To ask the Chief Executive when will the works which were undertaken by the Chief Executive to be completed in 4-5 weeks back in April 2014 will be completed. Please Chief Executive it is important that where such time commitments are given to Councillors and Councillors in turn feed this information back to constituents that there is a reality to the commitment given by the Chief Executive. It is now 9 months on and this work still remains outstanding. It falls to the Chief Executive to manage, having regard to his budget along with other work commitments, to provide an achievable and realistic time frame within which such works will be completed and thereafter to deliver on this commitment. Anything less makes Councillors look foolish and does nothing to help the image of our Council?"
"To ask the Chief Executive that the shrubs be cleared at the old Hermitage/Priory ruins in good time for spring 2015. That a plaque be erected with details of the importance of these historical ruins?"

Questions
"To ask that the Chief Executive report on the paths improvement programme that were undertaken and completed during 2014 and those planned for 2015. Glendoher estate was included in the 2014 programme and when I enquired in January 2014 I was told it had gone to contract. Please provide update as to the current position for this project?"
"To ask the Chief Executive to confirm following on from a request in 2014 that the paths in Willowbank Drive/ Orchardton be included in the path repair programme for 2015 along with confirmation as to when such works will be reached?"
"To ask the Chief Executive that the issue with surface water on Ann Devlin Road (left hand side immediately after the shops & outside the first house) be investigated and a solution found. Please also can you confirm that the issue of surface water on Butterfield Avenue at/near the entrance to Washington Lane, on the left hand side of Butterfield Avenue (north) has been resolved, along with the pooling problem also brought by me to your attention at or near the pedestrian lights (south) at the junction of Butterfield Avenue and Fairways?"
"To ask the Chief Executive to examine the traffic light sequence at Taylor's Lane/Whitechurch Road/Fortification Hill crossroads where there are significant tailbacks occurring up the Whitechurch Road to Whitechurch Roundabout?"
"To ask the Chief Executive to reinstate the school warden at Ballyroan Road in the vicinity of Marian Road/Ballyroan Road pedestrian lights as children are taking unsupervised risks at this location?"
"To ask the Chief Executive to repair the laneway that goes from the junction of Willowbank Drive / Butterfield Park to Edenbrook Park as the surface is rather uneven, causing health and safety issues for local elderly residents, especially on dark evenings?"
"To ask the Chief Executive to repair the footpath on the laneway between 116 & 118 Butterfield Park to between 27 & 29 Pinewood Park. approx. 80 metres. This is in a dangerous state of disrepair. It is the worst at the Butterfield Park end and needs urgent attention?"
"To ask the Chief Executive to repair the footpath on the laneway between 42 & 44 Anne Devlin Road to between 8 & 9 Anne Devlin Drive. Again, approx. 80 metres. This is also in a pretty bad state - worst at the Anne Devlin Road end. This is causing enormous difficulty for local residents, particularly those using zimmer frames?"
"To ask the Chief Executive to repair the first 60 metres of pathway on Ballyboden Road at its junction with Ballyroan Road as far as "Orbit Windows" premises. The pathway is old uneven tarmac which has worn away on the road side. It is dangerous for the infirm or for anyone pushing a wheelchair or buggy?"

Motions
"That the Chief Executive consider increasing the number of zebra crossings especially around areas where you have a high footfall such as shopping centres, schools and churches. The age profile of the people in our area are either older/senior people or parents with young children. I am specifically referring to Rathfarnham Shopping Centre where I have had both older people and parents with young children describe how difficult it is for them to cross from Fairways over to Rathfarnham Shopping Centre. It is accepted that there is a limit on the budget for speed controls/traffic management but one solution which would not cost too much is zebra crossings. I would like for you to perhaps use this motion to provide an insight for all Councillors, into the various traffic management solutions and the costs associated with each. Please consider and report back."
