To ask the Manager to outline details of what steps are being taken to ensure that provision is made over the next two years in order that adequate council funding is made available to supplement exchequer grants for the early completion of the council's swimming pool construction programme?

To ask the Manager to detail what measures are taken on an ongoing basis to monitor the noise created by aerodromes within South Dublin and what steps will be taken in the future to ensure regular monitoring?

To ask the manager to provide an updated schedule on when each individual report and study mandated by the County Development Plan will be completed?

To ask the Manager to indicate to the meeting when essential amendments will be made to Eviction Orders in order that they become enforceable? 

To ask the Manager to detail the number of Excluding Orders taken by the Council against tenants engaged in antisocial behaviour in the past year?

To ask the Manager are there plans to make mandatory the construction of traffic calming measures & cells on roads within all new housing & apartment dwellings under construction or planning consideration?

To ask the Manager is there a technical legal flaw in the Council's eviction notices & exclusion orders rendering the order invalid & has the council's legal department corrected same?

To ask the Manager, with the ever increasing high density building of houses and apartments within South Dublin what is the communication between the Council's planning department and other interested Council bodies with the Department of Education or local school principals re the impact on child school places?

To ask the Manager for a breakdown by elected areas  the current staffing levels  within the anti social department & could he please make a comparison with the staffing levels employed two years ago?

To ask the Manager to liaise with the P.R.T.B  the responsibility of the estate agents & letting agents who charge management fees to landlords re the vetting and placement of tenants & what background checks are in place on lettings & where local disputes arise re anti social behaviour the legal obligation on the letting agent, & to ask the P.R.T.B are there estate agents & letting agents listed on the P.R.T.B registration forms?

To ask the Manager if he could confirm the number of inspections which have take place by South Dublin County Council in relation to private rented accommodation in the administrative area of this local authority since 2005, and if he could state the new powers that have been devolved to this Council since the introduction of the Private Residential Tenancies Board, and specifically how many of those powers have been initiated by South Dublin County Council, and if he will make a statement on the matter?

That this Council calls on the owners of the Westlink Toll Bridge to open the Gates immediately upon traffic backing up beyond 2 1/2 km in either direction as is the norm in many countries across Europe.  This would help enormously in keeping traffic moving and would also mean the owners would have to operate the toll booths in the most efficient manner.
