To ask the Manager to report on the taking-in-charge process for the public right of way traversing the lands at Clonard, Lucan linking the Lucan Road and the Newlands Road. It is reported that this right of way has been available to the public since 1837.

Following the passing of my Motion at the June 2006 Planning Department Meeting including a survey of Foxborough Estate to access the outstanding works required to complete the boundary walls in Foxborough Estate, Lucan to a proper standard of finish, and the Manager's Report to that meeting that included details of condition No. 13 of Planning Permission S94A/0022 requiring:

“That screen walls in block or similar durable materials not less than 2 metres high, suitably capped and rendered, be provided at the necessary locations so as to screen rear gardens from public view. The specific locations and extent of walling must be fully discussed and agreed with the County Council before construction. Timber fencing is not acceptable.”

That the Manager would now set out full details of all such works to be completed throughout Foxborough Estate and the agreed time-scale for these works.

"In commending the Manager on the work in combating and removing graffitti as per my motion in June, that the manager present a report to the meeting on progress to date and in particular what contacts the manager has had with the Gardai on this matter and whether a report is available from the Gardai also."
