To ask the Manager to agree to draw up a plan to enhance the corner of Esker Place at the junction in Esker Lawns. This small public space is deteriorating in condition. The Esker Lawns Residents Association and many residents in Esker Lawns have requested that some works by the Parks and Landscaping Services Department will greatly enhance the entrance to Esker Lawns and the estate in general.
To ask the Manager for an up-dated report on what further litter bins are scheduled to be installed this year in the Lucan, Clondalkin and Palmerstown areas at bus stops, main roads, open spaces, parks etc.
To ask the Manager to agree to ensure that when both black and green bins are collected from homes, that the bins are returned onto the footpaths. The leaving of bins, very often in the middle of roads, when residents may not be at home due to work, schools etc., is causing severe inconvenience in many estates and a threat to safety as motorists often have to negotiate bins in the middle of roads in estates.
