MOTION: Councillor C. Jones

"That the Manager will ensure more adequate provision is made for pedestrians using Kiltipper Road from the junction with the Old Bawn Road to the entrance of Deerpark estate."

 

REPORT:

With the exception of a small length there is a footpath on one side of Kiltipper Road from Deerpark Estate to the Oldbawn Road. The missing stretch is adjoining the Dublin Postal Club where there is no space to provide a path between the road and the existing boundary. There is land available on the opposite side of the road adjoining Kiltipper Wood boundary and, whilst the provision of a path along here will entail crossing the road,this location will be examined for the provision of a path.
