That the Manager would agree to re-locate the Bottle Banks adjacent to Moy Glas estate to an alternative and more suitable location as per the request of the Moy Glas Residents Association and the Senior Environmental Health Officer, who in a report to the Moy Glas Residents Association reported that a request had been made to the Environmental Services Department "recommending that the bottle banks are moved to a more secure and supervised site."

"That this Committee supports the placing of wooden bollards at the end of Alderwood Grove, Springfield to prevent vehicular access to the green-space"

"That this Committee urges the Parks Dept., to outline the proposed work to enhance the sectiion of the Dodder river at Old Bawn Bridge, and this work to includ to make the river more visable:-

(i)     Remove the shrubby

(ii)    Night lighting of weir from bridge

(iii)   Access with safety for the public

(iv)    Steps to re-stock river-fishery

This report to be presented as soon as is possible.

That this Committee notes the concerns expressed at a recent meeting of Liffey Valley Park Residents Association about the lack of directional signage in the estate, which has a very complicated layout leading to difficulties being experienced by drivers of emergency service vehicles, and if such signage can be provided, either by the developer prior to taking-in-charge of the roads or by the Council?

That this Committee notes that, despite information provided in replies/reports at previous meetings, there is still serious concerns amongst  residents in Moyglass Estate, Lucan about the measures implemented to ensure that there is no significant noise pollution in the part of the estate bounding the Outer ring Road, particularly where the boundary is  a low wall with railings, and requests that the Manager arranges for officials of the Roads Department meet with representatives of Moyglass Residents Association to discuss their concerns, and that the Council be prepared to implement additional measures if they are required.

That this Committee requests the Manager to ensure that the Proposed Park and Ride facility at Lucan Demesne will not impact adversely on existing Local Residential Amenity, including Weston Park, Kew Park etc.

That this Committee recommends to South Dublin County Council that consultation procedures within the Lucan/ Clondalkin area be upgraded forthwith in order to ensure that as many people as possible will be directly consulted about issues which directly affect them and for which we have responsibility and that such changes apply throughout the County as a whole.
