That the Manager ensures that all of Fforster estate is completed in line with the relevant planning permission and that the road in Fforster Crescent be properly surfaced immediately.

That the Council draw up an Area Action Plan for the Palmerstown Village area incorporating the VL Byrne site and also all of the "Old Lucan Road" and the estates off it-both residential, recreational and commercial, and making provision for the up-grading of the Kennelsfort Rd/N4 Intersection, prior to entertaining any planning application for the area.  The availability of such an important site becoming available now for re-development opens up opportunities including the provision of social and affordable housing for the already over-developed community of Palmerstown and in the context that whatever development emerges at the VL Byrne site will define Palmerstown for at least the next fifty years.

That the Council immediately agrees to take the appropriate steps to replace the planned wall and fence along the boundary of Woodville Estate with a solid stone faced wall the height of the proposed fencing in order to provide residents with protection in excess of the minimum required by An Bord Pleanála.

That a report be brought to this Committee regarding proposals for works at Newlands Cross which are scheduled.

That the Council carry out a survey of the Back Lane network in Palmerstown with a view to securing them in such a manner that they will no longer be available for illegal dumping and/or for unsocial activities as the present situation is a source of ongoing and severe trauma for adjacent residents as well as a drain on scarce Council and Garda resources and frustrating for the whole community.

That the Lucan/Clondalkin Area Committee is concerned about ongoing problems with illegal parking in and around Lucan Village, including parking on footpaths and double yellow lines, and about apparent lack of co-ordination between the agency responsible for the implementation of the Council's Pay Parking Scheme and the the Traffic Warden Service, and requests the Roads Department to meet with An Garda Siochana in regard to the enforcement of parking regulations by the Traffic Warden service.

That this Committee calls upon the Manager to detail the development levies received for road enhancement works from the developer of the St. Loman’s site and to immediately provide funding to the Roads Department to provide a traffic lights junction at the Fonthill Roundabout in line with the EIS carried out in respect of the application.

To ask the Manager to report on the proposed location for the entrance to the recently approved Coldcut development and to explain how it will enhance traffic movement in the area and in particular how it will effect access/egress for Whitethorn Estate and congestion at the Cloverhill/Coldcut junction and to indicate what steps are open to us as a Committee to ensure that this won't become a traffic hazard.
