That this Council, in order to combat the proliferation in illegal domestic clothing collections;

investigates the possibility of introducing bye-laws which oblige all collectors to clearly identify their company/organisation name , address, landline and other relevant company/organisation/charity number details, together with the relevant tax clearance details;

and inter alia introduces severe penalties for those collectors and residents who knowingly breach these regulations;

organises a publicity campaign to alert householders to any proposed changes

To ask the Manager how he proposes to resolve the unsatisfactory situation that prevails in Foxdene Estate, including Foxdene Avenue, whereby unacceptable levels of dust are causing dreadful inconveniences to local residents as a result of nearby developments, and what measures will the Manager now introduce to resolve such build-ups of dirt and dust on roads in the vicinity of Foxdene arising from these developments.

To ask the Manager to provide a detailed report, including his plans to upgrade and secure Collinstown Park and Quarryvale Park for the benefit of the local community.  Local residents, community and sporting organisations are distraught at the ongoing anti-social behaviour that is impacting on these local amenities, and the quality of life of the local communities.
