That the Lucan/Clondalkin Area Committee congratulates the people of Lucan, the Tidy Towns Group and local businesses on their contribution to the success of Lucan in the national Tidy Towns Competition. This Committee recommends to the Manager that the Council show its appreciation of that success through an initiative to further promote environmental and litter awareness, such as the provision of additional bins and bring banks and, perhaps, a shop front/shopping centre competition.

That this Committee calls on the Manager to request the Park's Department to initiate procedures to take in charge the open space at the rere of Brookvale Estate, Lucan including the steps leading from Esker Hill to the Lucan Road.
