"That this Committee calls on the Manager to review the traffic flow arrangements in the Belfry Estate in Citywest recognising the consistent use of this estate for rat-running from the Blessington Road/Jobstown by speeding cars and joyriders alike - to investigate the feasability of closing off the estate to through traffic as has been done very successfully in other estates in the Tallaght South area."

To ask the Manager to include that part of Earlsfort estate which has never had a junk collection in this year's schedule. All of the roads off the second entrance nearest the Fonthill Road have never received such a service. The roads (including the Way, View, Dale, Drive etc) are all accessed off Earlsfort Avenue.

To ask the Manager if he will take note of the correspondence from the Clondalkin Social Welfare Office, listed under Corporate Services correspondence at the March meeting of the Area Committee, which shows persistent high numbers signing on at the Clondalkin Office , and if he will also take note of figures presented to the Clondalkin RAPID AIT showing persistent and high levels of unemployment in SDCC estates in the RAPID area, and convene a meeting between the Area Committee and  agencies dealing with unemployment in the area, including the Clondalkin Partnership, the RAPID AIT and FAS, to address the persistent problem of unemployment in the North Clondalkin area?
