That this Committee calls on this Council to again write to the Minister for the Environment urging him to introduce legislation to bring in a system of money back bottles and cans, backing up calls by the Green Party in the Dail, in order to make serious inroads into the litter problem that is blighting so many parts of Lucan, Palmerstown, Clondalkin and other areas and takes away from the excellent work done by so many community and environmental groups.
