That the Manager responsible bring a report to the March meeting of this Committee on progress to date in relation to the provision of a "Western Route" which is an objective of the Council's 2004 - 2010 Development Plan and as proposed by the Lucan Planning Council in a recent submission linking the N4 to the N/M7 west of Adamstown and linking on into Fingal without interfering with the G zoning at the Liffey Valley.
That the manager give an update on the provision of green bin services in the Tallaght area and outline the areas still lacking service.
That this Committee calls on the Mangers responsible to progress and report on the issues raised by the Whitethorn Estate Residents Association in their various correspondence with the Council including the re-location of the bus stop, the condition of the footpath and grass verges on Cloverhill Road, road signage within the Estate and the condition of footpaths and road surface.
That this Committee discusses the significant dangers now posed to pedestrians on the Fortunestown Lane from the roundabout at the junction of Brookfield and Sundale Park to the new roundabout at the junction of Fortunestown Lane and Citywest Road.
That a pedestrian crossing be installed in Palmerstown Village to facilitate pedestrians generally but especially with access to the Parish Centre in Lower Kennelsfort Road.
That the Manager brings forward an up to date report on the plans for Dodsboro Road and in particular to indicate the Council's intentions concerning the grotto and general road improvements including provision for buses and how it is to be linked/integrated with Adamstown and to indicate in the report the current owners of the site where the Grotto is located and to acknowledge that this Grotto which dates from 1954 should not be disturbed.
