That this Committee recommends that South Dublin County Council writes to the Minister for the Environment, Heritage & Local Government asking him:-
a. To ban the sale of drinks in glass containers from off-licences on the grounds that much of the glass from off-licences ends up being strewn around parks and open spaces.
b. To introduce a financial incentive to return glass drink containers to shops.
