That the Manager would present a report providing information on the number of social housing units completed and allocated to applicants during 2009 in the Lucan and Clondalkin Electoral Areas, and the anticipated number of completions and allocations in the same areas in 2010?
To ask the Manager that in light of numerous complaints received regarding the access to the emergency drainage numbers during the recent weather crisis, that a brief report be prepared how this and other forms of communicating messages regarding drainage and water disruption etc. might be improved notwithstanding the availability of the internet website of the Council?

That this Council recommends that regulation /legislation be implemented to ban/control what are termed 'head shops'.
That this Council calls on both the Ministers for Health & Environment to urgently introduce legislation to allow for the stricter regulation and preferably prohibition of all so-called 'legal highs' and 'head shops'; and in the interim requests the Manager to present a detailed report, for discussion, on the options available to the elected members under current legislation to adopt policies, possibly as part of our new County Development Plan, to restrict the opening and/or operation of new 'head-shops' in our county.

That this Committee thanks the staff of the Council who have worked without a break over the Christmas/New-year period to keep the roads open in the County and that the Manager outline what resources will be needed to repair roads in the Tallaght Central Area as a result of damage caused to the roads by the recent weather and if there is funds in the Council Budget to carry out this work.
That this Committee, noting the continuing closure of the Government’s Local Authority Swimming Pool Programme, requests the Manager to present a detailed report on any and all other feasible options to fund provision of the proposed Lucan Swimming Pool.
That the Manager outline what can be done to regulate parking in the car park outside the shops at Fortfield Park without the introduction of paid parking. Shop owners have found an increasing number of cars are using the location as a park and ride facility.
That this Committee requests the Manager to write to the Minister for Environment, Heritage and Local Government and request an up-to-date report on this Council's earlier requests to extend the Special Amenity Area Order to the lands currently not protected by the SAAO between Lucan Bridge and Palmerstown, including St. Edmundsbury and Woodville, and further request the Minister to exercise his powers to issue this order without further delays.
That this Council implements a text notification service, similar to that used for the bin collection service, and for major disruptions the placement of adverts in Daily Newspapers as a standard practice of notification when there is problem with the water supply to houses in the County.
That this Council requests the NRA and M50 Concessions, the agents responsible for the M50 upgrade, to give a full explanation as to how protocols and procedures relating to noise and night time work have been flagrantly and regularly contravened, without recourse to this local authority or local residents and to outline what guarantees they can give to this Council that they either entities are capable of securing the support of local people given their record in this regard.
