That this Committee calls on the Manager to speed up the process of delivering the essential pedestrian crossing along Fortunestown Lane to service the residents of Mac Uilliam Estate before a serious accident occurs. This Estate has over seven hundred children living there with no legitimate crossing point to all of the services in the area that require them to cross the Road to, including the local schools, shops, bus stops etc. That this Committee further calls on the Manager to prioritise these works on safety grounds.

That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for the immediate repair of ramps along the Killinarden Link Road adjacent to Killinarden Estate, Killinarden Heights and Cushlawn as the Bus Service is at risk due to the significantly bad state of disrepair these ramps are in.
