That this Committee requests that the broken parts of the fence along footpath at 9th Lock Rd. be repaired and the broken blue netting be removed . This road is probably the most unkempt in this Councils control.

That the manager repairs the damaged kerbing at the St Brigids Road/Drive junction AND repairs the grass verge damaged by commercial vehicles regularly having to mount the verge AND installs timber posts to protect the verge similar to those in situ across the road.
That this Council calls on Dublin Bus to ensure that the views and concerns of the communities within South Dublin County are taken on board in a real way further to the consultation process engaged in as part of the Network review process and furthermore to ensure that no residents of the county will be without an easily accessible bus service as a result of the review process.
That this Area Committee expresses its appreciation to the Esker Cemetery Committee for its superb voluntary efforts in tidying-up the cemetery; and further requests the Manager to present, for discussion, details of the council's proposed work programme to maintain and improve the cemetery over coming months; including the need for regular grass-cutting and the need to replace the open rubbish dumps as I have requested on previous occasions.
