That this Committee seeks an update on the Council's preparations for the winter months for this area in terms of plans for road gritting, salt bin locations, and other plans to deal with extreme weather events; and that this Committee consider the further rollout of salt bins to new estates/areas.

That this Committee expresses its serious concern with the dangers of private waste collection companies operating trucks in residential areas outside of normal working hours; that all waste companies operating in this area be written to expressing the concerns of local representatives on behalf of residents regarding collections very early in the morning or at night; and that a report be brought to the next Council meeting on this item.
