MANAGERS REPORT - FOR NOTING
This Council calls on the Chief Executive to identify and acquire protected, possibly derelict, structures in the County that were formally houses or hotels with the view of refurbishing for housing or hotel purposes.
This Council calls on the Taoiseach to expel the Israeli Ambassador to Ireland.
That this Council considers adding follow up documentation to the consultation portal after a public consultation closes, detailing how the feedback from the submissions and observations raised by the public has been considered and implemented by the Council, as appropriate.
That SDCC compile a Registered Tradesperson list, similar to what is operational in Kildare Co Co to ensure that elderly people who are getting work done through grants etc are protected when getting alterations and modifications to their homes
To ask the Chief Executive for an update on development and plans for the City Edge Project.
To ask the Chief Executive what training opportunities are provided by LEO South Dublin for small and medium businesses in 2024.
To ask the Manager for an update on the plans to place the Compound in Tymon Park at Limekiln Road for the duration of the Poddle Flood Alleviation Scheme Works?
To ask the Manager if there are any age friendly housing developments currently in progress or being planned for the Dublin 12 area that is in South Dublin County Council Area?
To ask the Chief Executive if consideration has been given to displaying more information in South Dublin County Council owned buildings regarding sustainability and practical measures all users and workers could implement to reduce waste in our buildings in the County.
That this area committee calls on the Manager to organise a number of full day static checkpoints / information points held by the dog wardens in Dodder Valley Greenway, Tymon Park, St. Enda's Park and other necessary locations to combat the increasing instances of dogs off leads resulting in dog fouling and dangerous instances with cyclists and children.

That this Area Committee asks the Council to do an emergency assessment of footpaths / roads at Cherrywood Grove, Drive , Lawns , Cresent and Villas Roads and to carry out any emergency work while detailing a long term plan to fully repair.
That this Area Committee asks the Council in relation to the Rathcoole Woodlands, to show them where the protected habitats are in terms of location and area and say where the protected habitat 91EO alluvial Woodland starts and finishes in Rathcoole and the council to set out and demonstrate what measures the Council have in place for the protection of the protected habitats and what management plans are in place for events such as the recent orienteering event that utilised , protected areas and re-wilded areas and what criteria were applied to ensure protection of the protected habitats was in place before giving approval.
