That this Area Committee request SDCC to look at and action a plan for Veronica Guerin in advance of the 30th Anniversary of her death in June 2026 and that this includes the landscaping,the lighting up of the memorial and signage.
That this Area Committee calls on the Minister for Justice and the Repatriation Division of the Irish Naturalization and Immigration Service to review the Deportation order on (Name Supplied), (Name Supplied) and their three daughters as a matter of urgency. They play an active part in the Clondalkin Community, their involvement includes Clondalkin Tidy Towns. (Name Supplied) currently serves as an inclusion secretariat member of SDCPPN. He was elected to this position based on his active participation in the community work. He is also the Chairperson of Clondalkin Global Garden (Name Supplied) worked as a HCA and (Name Supplied) in security before the deportation order was issued. (Name Supplied) and his family would be a loss to our community and we request the order is reviewed immediately.
That this Area Committee request that Old Knocklyon Rd (the section by Homeville) be included in future maintenance schedules in terms of footpaths (see attached), public realm, here-trimming and road maintenance.

To ask the Chief Executive for a report into the efforts SDCC are making to offset the carbon emissions created by data centres in the county given that, according to the Central Statistics Office, data centres were responsible for 21% of all electricity consumed in the state during 2023.
This Council calls on the Chief Executive to immediately reverse the policy of removing public bins from this county as a method of reducing illegal dumping of domestic waste and requests that all public bins removed for this reason are replaced as a matter of urgency.
That the Chief Executive to write to the Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly, calling on him to meet with local representatives regarding the lack of public health nurses in the south Dublin county area.

This Council notes with concern the increasing number of sports pitches deemed unplayable over the course of winter and spring and the negative impact on local sports clubs and participants. In light of this growing issues this Council requests Council management to investigate further means to improve drainage and the possibility of increasing the number of all-weather pitches available in the County.
