That this Committee, noting the Report on Motion No. 17 at the Area Committee Meeting of 26th March, and particularly that there is no legislation regulating the use of TVB screens in the windows of retail; shops and Licensed Premises, requests the Manager, having regard to the Council's Villages Initiative which includes amongst its aims the support of sustainable businesses in the County's villages, requests the manager to produce a set of Guidelines which regulates, but allows in principle, the use of TV screens in the ground floor windows of businesses in Lucan Village.

This meeting agrees that the Manager should write to the Department of Social Protection and the HSE requesting that for the purposes of all social welfare and community welfare office services Meile an Rí, Tor an Rí and Buirg on Rí should be considered to fall within the catchment area of the North Clondalkin Health Centre in Rowlagh rather than the Health Centre in Lucan Village; the letter should outline the practical reasons for such a move including the lack of public transport links between Balgaddy and Lucan Village, the community links between Balgaddy and North Clondalkin; and the value in aligning both the SDCC and the Social Protection/CWO administrative boundaries of north Clondalkin;
