To ask the Manager for an update report on the working of "fixYourStreet.ie" to include in the answer the average time line within which action is taken by this council following a report, if the commitment to "take action within two working days" and that "the response available through the website will always be given by an official of the relevant council" is adhered to by this council or does it represent unfair advertising.  Many people complain that they never hear what happens their complaint, they do not get an acknowledgement and most times nothing else happens either and the problem or issue persists un-attended?

To ask the Manger for an explanation as to why the following motion which I proposed and was agreed at the February Lucan Area Committee has not been acted on and can the Manager now at this late stage produce the report: "That the Manager bring a report to the next meeting of the full Council on the operation of the Fisheries in Corcaigh Park and to include why there has been such a time lapse between the end of the previous contract and the issuing of a new one, the level of stocks in the lakes and the level of use including the income to this Council from this facility in 2013."

That this Council expresses its congratulations to the people of Clondalkin, and in particular the members of the Fairtrade Steering Committee and the pupils of Our Lady Queen of the Apostles in Clonburris, on securing Fairtrade status. In support of their ongoing work, this Council will seek to provide a range of Fairtrade products in its catering and shop facilities in Council buildings and amenities.

That this Council will seek to facilitate a low-cost transport service for older persons for healthcare and other needs, along the lines of the Vantastic model in parts of Dublin City and Fingal, and that details of this will be brought to the relevant SPC's with a view to being introduced as Council policy by the end of this calendar year.

That this council will not participate in any manner with the Gateway Scheme. Gateway Participants will be working for essentially for a Euro an hour in the Gateway scheme. It will also undermine existing jobs in the local authority. This council should reiterate and support the notion of a Fair Day's Pay, For A Fair Day's Work.
