MOTION NO. 18

MOTION: Councillor M. Duff

That this Council calls on the Revenue Commissioners to commit to retaining the Public Office in High Street, Tallaght on a full time basis and to acknowledge that this office provides an excellent service to the citizens of South Dublin County and beyond. While acknowledging that Revenue Online Services provides a wide range of services, it does not meet the needs of citizens who need documents validated or forms, such as Social Housing Applications, which requires Revenue to stamp the application or assistance with a range of issues that need the services of a Revenue official.

If the motion is agreed a letter will issue to the Revenue Commissioners conveying the terms of the motion.
