That this Area Committee congratulate the committee of Tallaght Community Council and all the Community Groups, Voluntary Organisations and others that were involved in Tallafest 2014, for making it such an enjoyable occasion and that the Manager will commit to promoting and sponsoring the event to ensure that it is sustainable and accessible to all, in coming years.

"That this Council write to the Chief Executive of Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown County Council asking that it be agreed that a restriction be placed on the number of concerts in Marley Park each year, there being eight concerts held in Marley Park this summer.

To ask Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown Council to confirm the profit received from hosting such events and that a certain percentage of that profit ought to be given to South Dublin Council for spending within the Rathfarnham Area to compensate locals for the inconvenience they suffer as a result of such concerts.

In addition that Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown County Council would notify this Council once an application to host is received and once permission to host is granted that a minimum notice as to such events be agreed between the parties."

"To ask the Chief Executive for immediate remedial action to be taken at the derelict former McHugh's site, given the poor visage resulting from the partial works undertaken over the summer.
