Fire Service

That this Council directs the Chief Executive to include in the Development Plan the Dublin Fire Brigade spatial analysis of our County in terms of journey time distance from the nearest fires stations; and to further include an appropriate objective for provision of a fire station(s) in our County north of the N7 where there is currently none.

 Western Orbital Road

That this Council directs the Chief Executive to include an updated objective in the new Development Plan for a strategic new western orbital link road to initially connect the N7 to the N4 (west of Lucan or Leixlip); and ultimately to connect to the N3; and to further consult with the Land Use Planning & Transportation SPC on this matter.

Provision of new litter bins

That this Council directs the Chief Executive to include an appropriate new policy, objectives and actions in the Development Plan requiring the provision of a sufficient level of new litter bins in all new residential developments and at all new public transport stops.

It shall be an objective of the 2016 - 2022 County Development Plan to upgrade the N4/Fonthill junction to a standard that is in keeping with the status of the Liffey Valley Town Centre and provide greater access/egress for South Lucan Traffic.
