That this Area Committee ask the Chief Executive for a report on the strategic housing development on the Vincent Byrne site in Palmerstown. Now the a new website www.palmerstownshd.ie has gone live, what is the time line for this planning application and what is this Councils view on the plan?

"That this Committee calls on the Minister for Health, Simon Harris, to approve funding for a life-saving treatment for Irish Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) patients. Spinraza is currently reimbursed in 20 other countries, changing the lives of patients there, but not in Ireland. Spinraza could give those effected a better quality of life. Earlier this summer, the Minister for Health announced that Ireland would join Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg and Austria in the BeNeLuxA initiative to secure affordable and timely availability to new medicines for Irish patients. As of September 1st, Spinraza is available in all BeNeLuxA initiative countries apart from Ireland."
That this Area Committee ask the Chief Executive for a report on the upgrade work on the steps outside the health centre on Dispensary Lane in the village. Why has no work been done over the summer and the area been left unsafe with cones and barriers left on site?
"That this committee get a presentation exploring the potential of opening up permiability links between Brownstown, Newcastle and the Canal using the old passageway near the cemetary. This would increase access to the canal and also to Hazelhatch train station."
