"That this Committee discusses the 'problems' (dumping/rats/general condition etc.) encountered by some residents in Whiteclilffe backing open space /road reservation on Whitechurch Road - please investigate this 'prior to our area meeting' and come forward with proposals on what action can be taken to ensure this area is maintained . It may be an option to have it incorporated into the rear gardens of those houses. This is a reoccuring and major health problem for Residents there and must be addressed."
"That the Manager move to immediately deal with the problem of leaf debris caused by overhanging trees adjacent to (162 Ballyroan Road); a commitment regarding which was entered into over a year ago."
"That the Manager have the fallen Willow tree removed from the Owendoher stream at the bridge/pedestrian entrance at Willbrook Grove Whitechurch Road."
"That this Committee discusses the progress on the provision of toilets at Rathfarnham playground (as already agreed) and to state when work will commence? Children are using the surrounding area as toilet - as this playground is 'unusually close' to adjacent houses it is imperative that this toilet is provided on health and safety grounds alone."

Roads

"To ask the Manager to examine the entrance to each estate on the Route of the Ballycullen/Firhouse QBC following /during completion with a view to ensuring that the entrances/grass verges are completed /reinstated to a satisfactory condition in the Rathfarnham area?"
"To ask the Manager if there has been a response to the many requests made to the Bank of Ireland by the Law Department re the transfer of the road at Hermitage view to SDCC with a view to taking it in charge. "That this Committee recommends that the Pillars at Glenlyon Estate be painted - they have been destroyed following work on QBC - the cost of a ltr. of paint would demonstrate that this Council have some consideration for those people who have 'endured' major disruption during those major roads works. There may be staff in some departments that could be seconded to do this job taking into consideration that there is no funding now for major new works."
"That the Manager look again at the street lighting between the end of Marian Crescent and Anne Devlin Drive to come up with a solution to inprove lighting in this area."
"That this Committee discusses with the aid of a report from the manager why signage poles erected in March 2010 (without legends) along the Firhouse Road have now been dug up (during week of 20 Sept) as part of the current QBC road widening and to explain why these two projects were not co-ordinated. In addition that the Manager detail what signage is now planned on each of the sections of the Firhouse road from Ballyroan road through to Ballycullen Road."
