OPEN SPACE ADJOINING NO 30 WILLBROOK LAWN - OUTSTANDING ISSUES

On foot of a resolution passed by the Terenure Rathfarnham Area Committee on 13th November 2007, Council staff entered onto public open space lands adjacent to 30 Willbrook Lawn on 25th May 2010, to carry out the works set out in the resolution.

Consequent to that action, legal proceedings for adverse possession of the public open space have now been served against the Council.  

The Council's Law Agent has advised that no further works take place until such time as this matter has been determined by the courts.

The Council is defending the proceedings and the Elected Members will be updated on progress.
