Water & Drainage
Questions
To ask the Chief Executive to provide a clear guide detailing what aspects of water services Councillors can request the Council to deal with directly and what aspects require Councillors to deal with Irish Water and to explain where responsibility for roads and water services overlaps and how councillors should process requests for water related works such as drain clearing and surface water floods?

Questions
To ask the Chief Executive what can be done by the Council to assist the Clondalkin Tidy Towns biodiversity group as it strives to improve the presentation of Clondalkin Park (community centre), with particular reference to the Camac River and its banks, bridges and weirs?
To ask the Chief Executive what can be done to improve the footpaths on both sides of the New Nangor Road from the Ninth Lock junction towards Parkwest? Work has begun on cutting back shrubbery adjacent to the M50 overpass. However, this needs to be continued in the direction of Parkwest. Also, the section of footpath between the Ninth Lock and the overpass on the Canal side of the road needs attention as there are bushes encroaching on the footpath. Could a plan be formulated to improve this footpath as it is very well used by leisure walkers and those walking to work.

That this committee agrees that the Chief Executive should present a report for debate on the issue of footpath repair outlining what happens when a members representation request is submitted requesting repair of dangerous footpaths, how long it takes for such repairs to be carried out, and how Roads works with Public Realm where the cause of the broken footpath is overgrown trees and roots.
That the Chief Executive addresses cyclists on the path on the left side from Camac Valley up to Boot Road. Recently, just at the first house an elderly resident got hit by a bicycle.
Planning
Questions
During the term of the previous Council I sought a report on the idea of a walkway/cycleway from Clondalkin village to the canal path greenway at the Knockmitten/Woodford entrance via the Watery Lane. To ask the Chief Executive if it would be possible for this report to be considered again and what are the chances of NRA permeability funding being accessed for this project.
To ask the Chief Executive if the Woodford Walk area has been taken in charge? If so, why have the beech hedges in the area not been cut and the area tidied and cleaned?

That this Committee agrees that and will push for a minimum of 20% Council Housing gain for any Housing built on the Clonburris Lands. We recognise that such a move will provide significant gains in terms of Housing stock and will aid with solving the Housing issue and the huge waiting list for council Housing.
