"That this Committee support The Saggart Village Residents Association Planning subcommittee's call for a playground/play space for Saggart and we request that South Dublin County Council start the process to make this happen and report back to this Committee on how this can be achieved for this fast growing area beside the Village Plaza."

That this ACM requests that the streetlighting in Manor Estate, in particular around Mountdown, that have had LED bulb replacements be assessed to ascertain whether the lighting is fit for purpose. Residents complain that since the changeover, the lighting is worse and the area no longer feels safe to walk through after dark. I would ask that the lighting be assessed including looking atthe the length of the poles to assess if they are adequate for the new bulbs and not too tall and for action to be taken to ensure better lighting for this community.
