That this Area committee comments on the state of some of our open green spaces left after trucks, vehicles, have done work such as installation equipment or planting trees etc, case in point : 2 trees planted on green opposite SIAC at roundabout. Also in some instances the green at the community centre
That the manager carry out a full inspection of footpaths in Willsbrook estate, and scheduling the necessary repairs / upgrades into the programme of works for 2024.
"To ask the Chief Executive to provide a progress report on the 100 homes in phase 1, that were listed for upgrades as part of the windows and doors replacement programme (North of the Naas Rd), but delayed due to Covid19 restrictions. Furthermore, outlining the total number of homes currently approved for upgrades and the number of applications currently being processed in the system."
To ask the manager for an update on the anticipated recommendation now by the Arts section, for the Adamstown mural and in follow up to official question raised in this regard in December 2020.

This committee seeks clarification from Chief Executive regarding ownership of all lands in the Finnstown estates (Abbey/Priory/Cloisters). To confirm that South Dublin County Council own and are in charge of all public areas. To advise if there any plans to alter the public spaces/green spaces in the area. Planning/management were recently made aware of surveys being carried out on the lands between Castleview and Finnstown Priory where the boundary separates the two and this same boundary is protected via an SLO in the CDP. To ask Chief Executive what mechanisms are in place to ensure open green spaces remain as open spaces within housing estates and when the council take in charge an area, can it be confirmed if the folio registration is changed to reflect this.

That this Area Committee agrees, that the bus service covering the Newcastle area is totally in adequate and calls upon Dublin Bus to increase the level of service scheduling until the bus connects new schedule is brought into service.

To ask the Chief Executive when footpath repairs will be completed in the pinewoods area of Greenpark and also the Rockfield Drive /Boot Rd area where contractors appear to have left both areas prematurely and incomplete?
