That the Manager would report in full on the Planning Application for temporary use of Weston Aerodrome as a Park and Ride Facility for this year's Ryder Cup Golf Competition.  At the April '06 Planning Department Meeting of the Lucan/Clondalkin Area Committee, the Manager had not as yet been able to consider all aspects of this Planning Application, particularly with a view to ascertaining as to whether the Planning Application is in conflict with any legal issue(s) as set down by the High Court in its Judgment of 28th April 2005.

That the Manager would report in full on the recent increased traffic congestion on the N4 for city bound traffic for motorists.  Specifically would the Manager report on the negative impact for Lucan and Palmerstown motorists as a result of the recently introduced traffic lane management on the M50 at the Westlink Toll  Bridge and will the Manager agree to make further representations on behalf of the residents in Lucan and Palmerstown owing to the disadvantaged position they now find themselves in.

That the Manager would report in detail on the Schools Safety Report he agreed to my request at the Road's Department Area Committee Meeting on the 17th January 2006 in the Council Chamber, for schools in the Lucan, Palmerstown ann Clondalkin areas, including the special consultation process the Manager has embarked on with these schools.

To ask the Manager to write to the Minister for Education and Science expressing the need for adequate school accommodation to be made available in St. Thomas’, Scoil Áine and St. Andrew’s Schools in Lucan.  St. Andrew’s School specifically is in need of a larger site while St. Thomas ’ and Scoil Áine require sanction to commence phase 2 of their improvement programme.

"To ask the Manager to examine the footpath on Anne Devlin Road that runs along the open space, where the grass verges are almost meeting they are so overgrown and to explain the disgraceful manner in which the grass cuttings are strewn over the footpath rendering it virtually impossible to use the walkway?"
